Foam Flooding

Foam Flooding is a mechanism of firefighting using Foam instead of the traditional method of water-based fire hydrant systems. This is commonly used in areas where there are flammable liquid storage, airport hangers etc.
It creates a thick foam blanket on the material under fire, cutting Oxygen supply and extinguishing the fire. This can be used only where areas are constrained by bund wall or partition.
